Microsoft Urges You To Upgrade Your Browser Today!!!

Windows XP users still clinging to Internet Explorer 6 have been urged by Microsoft  to upgrade their browser to more recent versions.

According to Microsoft: "IE6 is a nine-year-old web browser and doesn't sufficiently protect users from the latest security threats. Microsoft is urging customers to upgrade to the latest version of Internet Explorer so that they are not leaving themselves vulnerable."

Support for the old browser is disappearing, and pretty soon sites will no longer work in IE6.

In the bussling heart of Taipei, Computex 2010 opens, so after hours of walking and talking what were the highlights for me? My expectations for the event were some what low, considering the financial crunch and not many europeans venturing out due to the icelandic volcano, but every corner was full of manufacturers and resellers showing their wares.

Sue Booth (Embrionics)

“I spent some time with [Digital Catalyst] this week working to improve the SEO function of my website and it has paid off already. I've had two enquiries for coaching from the website (before 8:30am today). This is astounding considering I haven't had any web generated enquiries for the last 4 months. Both new inquiries were from interstate, which was a first for my business, but of course with coaching, location is not a problem.

It just highlighted to me the importance of investigating what your competitors are doing and making sure you've refreshed activity on the website and optimised your chances of Google boosting your ranking.

Watching them work through this task was fun, informative and really highlighted the attention to detail required to get this right. I would definately recommend them to anyone looking to boost enquires via their website.
