Newslettering
This publishes and sends newsletters to lists of subscribers.
Both anonymous and signed-in website users can opt-in to different mailing lists.
It supports the following features:
- newsletters can be sent as plain text or HTML
- newsletters are stored in the “drafts” folder before sending and in the “sent items” folder after sending final draft
- sending of mail to large mailing lists is handled by a timed process so as to not flood ISPs
- a single-copy test newsletter can be sent to a test group before the newsletter is officially sent to the mailing list
- classification of newsletters by title, type, date, published, send status, and with the ability to filter newsletter by categories
- newsletters can be attached to the menu of your website and auto-page named
- newsletter open and click-through stats tracking report
- subscription list management includes the display of email, username (or as anonymous), status (active/inactive), option to delete, activate/inactivate, and an edit link to manage subscriber
- import and export (active and/or inactive) subscriptions to and from the different newsletters
- subscription to the newsletters can be done through site content blocks or a subscription form on the website
- website logged-in users can manage their subscriptions under their own account settings
- anonymous (un)subscribers are offered a confirmation email
