There are a number of integrations with Twitter microblogging service in the following way:

• Associate one or more Twitter accounts with a website user's account
   
• Have tweets displayed in a websites side block or within a users own profile on an intranet
   
• Elect or have forced a posting of content to one's own Twitter account or a site-wide Twitter account whenever new content is created or content is updated
   
• Log in to your Drupal site via you Twitter credentials
   
• Have configured through your website customised displays of tweets based on:
  • time
  • date
  • author
     
• Generate tweet displays such as "Latest Twitter messages" block and "This user's Twitter messages" on a profile page
